About the role 

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team at Event Temple. You are someone who thrives on driving results, particularly in growing attended qualified demos. Your role is crucial to converting marketing and sales leads into opportunities that move our business forward. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, are deeply curious, and are adept at listening, handling objections, and experimenting to continuously improve.

What You’ll Do Day To Day 

  • Manage and nurture leads by calling and sequencing HubSpot contacts every week.
  • Ensure fast response times by calling and emailing all contacts who request a demo within 5 minutes of request during working hours.
  • Research and qualify top opportunities within our internal CRM, building targeted lists of 100 contacts weekly.
  • Maintain the CRM’s accuracy by tracking key fields and ensuring data quality to spot potential opportunities.
  • Continuously propose weekly experiment ideas and execute A/B tests to refine processes.
  • Keep a weekly journal documenting activities and experiment outcomes.

Critical Metrics

  • Conversion of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Attended Demos.
  • Conversion of SQLs to Attended Demos.
  • Grow attended demos by 5% month-over-month.

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 CAD + Commissions.
